As a specialist provider of Plant Operatives, Groundworkers, and CSCS Labourers, TRG Projects ensures that every worker supplied to a UK construction or civil engineering site is legally eligible, technically competent, and safety-conscious.

1 Right to Work & Identity Verification

Before any operative is entered into our database, we perform mandatory identity checks in line with UK Home Office "Right to Work" legislation.

  • Documentation: Collection and verification of original Passports, Biometric Residence Permits (BRP), or Birth Certificates.
  • Verification: Use of automated IDV (Identity Verification) technology to check for fraudulent documents.
  • Share Codes: For non-UK nationals, we require and verify Home Office share codes to confirm current visa status and expiry dates.

2 Technical Competency & "Ticket" Verification

We specialize in "High-Risk" roles (Plant & Groundworks), making competency verification our highest priority.

  • CSCS/CPCS/NPORS Check: Every card is verified via the CITB Online Card Checker before the worker is deployed.
  • Expiry Tracking: System automatically flags any operative whose tickets are within 30 days of expiry.
  • PTS (Personal Track Safety): For rail-side civil projects, we verify Sentinel profiles.
  • Medical Fitness: Plant operators must provide a valid "Fit for Work" medical certificate (Safety Critical Medical).

3 Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

Site Inductions

We ensure all workers have completed a general H&S induction.

PPE Standards

Mandatory full 5-point PPE (Hard hat, Hi-vis vest/trousers, Boots, Glasses/Gloves).

4 Financial & Tax Compliance (CIS)

To protect our clients from financial liability, we handle all tax obligations strictly.

  • Registered contractor under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
  • £10m Employers Liability & £5m Public Liability insurance.

5 Ethical Staffing & Modern Slavery

In accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we take active steps to prevent exploitation.

We never pay into third-party bank accounts; wages are paid directly to the operative. We also provide a confidential whistleblowing line.
